I've owned Gracie from 7 weeks old. She is amatuer trained and handled. Gracie is 60 pounds of pure drive and birdiness. She runs blinds with the same enthusiasm and style as marks. Gracie started her career by going 5 for 5 completing her Senior Hunter title November 3, 2007 the day after her second birthday. Gracie completed her Hunting Retriever Champion Title, Master Hunter Title, and was Qualified All Age by 4 years old. Gracie suffered a partial avulsion of the achilles tendon while training in early 2011. Despite making a wonderful recovery following surgury and rehab we decided to retire Gracie from field trial competition in the summer of 2011. Continuing our pursuit of all age ribbons was not worth the risk of loosing my top hunting companion to a re-injury. Gracie still trains regularly and is my faithful companion to the duck camp in east Arkansas.
*Gracie was bred to FC AFC Small Craft Advisory (Rough) in 2010. We're happy to report that several dogs from this litter are excelling in the hunt test circuit while others are chasing birds in the fields and marshes of North America. Future breadings are being considered.
